As Alex found out, Microsoft has updated the page for the Dutch Developer Days and my name is also incorrect on the sessions page. We’re both doing an ASP.NET 2.0 session, though his one is a level 400 while mine is 300. In my session we’ll be looking at, or working with rather, the provider model in ASP.NET as it relates to security. Working, because I intend to mainly build, show and run code. There will undoubtedly be a couple of slides, to put it all in perspective. It’s weird to see my name so close to Scott Guthrie’s. In fact, there are quite a number of celebrities doing very interesing sessions so there’s every reason to attend.
What I’d really like to know is, when attending a sessions that deals with code, more than with slides, would you prefer to see the presenter manually typing the code or would you rather see him walking through code that has already been written? Or… would you not attend this type of a session?
